Preschool Graduation

Brooke graduated from preschool last week. This year went to fast and I can't believe it's Kindergarten for her next year. They had a program for the parents and grandparents they sang songs, said their bible verse and then the big moment getting their diploma. The next day was their last day of school we went to Tunnel Park the mom's could join them so I dropped Kenzie off and off we went. She had fun going down the big sand dune with her friends. After saying our good byes to her friends and teachers I took her out to lunch just the two of us. Now the fun starts trying to keep her busy during the summer.

2 Girls + 1 More = 3 Kids

That's right we're expecting our third child in December. We are so excited to add another one to the family. Brooke can't wait for the little one to come and Kenzie could care less. Brooke is so excited that the baby might share her birthday which is the 17th. I had an ultra sound last week and seen the little thing and the heart beat. We gave the family these candy bars that had the news on them. Everyone was surprised. That's our big news this week. Hope you all have a great week.

Mother's Day

What a wonderful Mother's Day I had. I got to sleep in and Brooke woke me up with a card and some candles that she picked out all herself. She was so proud of her gift. Corey gave me a night away at a hotel by myself!!! Our nephew got baptized in the morning so we went to their church and then to their house for lunch. After that we stopped at my parents house. Then on to Lowe's for a new sump pump for our house - we almost had water in our basement. Corey fixed that and the rest of us took naps. Corey made supper for us and then off to his parents house. The night ended with Kenzie getting stung by a wasp that G & G De Vries house. This morning I had a mother's tea at Brooke's school. She surprised me with bath salts and a nice card. We had a great time this morning one-on-one.

Tulip Time

It's a little late, but there cute pictures. I'm so glad Tulip Time is done and no more dancing!!! We went to the Wed. parade with the girls and my mother-in-law. Friday night we all went down and got junk food and watched me dance.

Weekend

what a great weekend - Friday was nothing special. We went out to eat with the Vande Zande's at night with the kids to Logan's. It's great to get out with other adults and have a real conversation. Saturday was my birthday so Corey was home all day - YEAH!! We went to the Dandelion Festival in Borculo in the morning. The girls loved the games and the parade and yes all the candy they got. We got home and I went to the craft show downtown Holland with out the kids. We ordered in supper and Corey and Brooke made me a cake. The girls made me cards - so cute. Sunday was just at home and going to church. This week is a busy one with Tulip Time, but it should be a fun time.

Showing, Showing, and More Showings

I'm so sick of this house for sale. I'm ready to get this chapter in our lives done. Over the last week we've had 6 showings. On Wednesday we had 3 in one day!! Of course they were spread out at 10, 4, and 7 how do you keep a clean house with two kids in it. I'm glad this week is done. We've not heard back from the 3 on Wed., but the others are no's.

Brooke went on her field trip to the Tulip City Airport on Thursday. I drove her and her friend there. They got to sit in the seat and pretend they were flying to Disney World. She had a smile on her face the whole time. I was fun to see her interact with the kids in her class. Not much going on this weekend.
