Cabela's, Splash Universe, and Ikea

Every spring we head away for a long weekend away with the De Vries family. This year we went to Cabela's. We left Sunday morning and returned Tuesday afternoon. The guys were in heaven at Cablea's and spent most of their time in the Bargain Cave. Us girls walked around with the kids trying to keep them happy. I think we looked at the animals and fish 50 times. Monday afternoon we headed across the street to an indoor waterpark. The girls loved it - Brooke was so independent she wanted to go on all the slides by herself. Kenzie was scared at first but once she got in she spent most of the time in the lazy river and going down the kiddie slides. Ashley even made it in the pool to before taking a nap by grandpa. Tuesday we headed to Ikea for a few hours before heading home. We told the guys that if we spend time at Cablea's then they can spend some time with us at Ikea. We had a great weekend, the girls did great and they love playing with grandma and grandpa and their cousin Evan.

9 Years

Corey and I celebrated our 9th anniversary yesterday. We spent the day with his family, went to Ikea and then drove 3 hours home from Dundee where we spent a long weekend. His mom was nice enough to put a sign on our hotel door saying Happy Anniversary! It's amazing how our lives have changed in the last 9 years. We would have never guessed we would have 3 beautiful little girls. Not the greatest picture, but that's all I have.

Aero Med Visit

We took a little ride out to the Grand Rapids to see the Aero Med helicopter that Ashley was transferred in. The staff was so nice there they let the girls go in the helicopter and they brought home a pack of goodies from Aero Med. It was nice to see and talk to the nurse, doctor, and pilot there. They were glad to see one of their patients nice and healthy.

Kenzie + Sissors = New Haircut

That's right Kenzie decided to give herself a new haircut last night in bed. I got her up this morning and thought something looked different only a couple hours later I figured it out. We couldn't find the scissors or the hair. Later I was getting her clothes out and she put it all in her sock drawer. Thanks to Heidi for letting us come on a Saturday for a fix it haircut for Kenzie.
