Paint a Pot

We spent the morning at Paint a Pot with the girls. We each painted a mug to use at home for hot chocolate and coffee. Corey painted a camo one, Heather painted hers brown and pink, Brooke painted hers pink with lots of other colors, and Kenzie well hers was a mix of everything. The girl's had such a good time. Ashley just slept in her carseat in the corner. Kenzie didn't understand that you had to leave them there for a week she cried all the way out saying "I want my cup"

Kenzie, Kenzie, Kenzie

What can I say she is our girl that will do anything and not even care if it hurts. She went to bed one night with gum in her mouth which I didn't know about. She woke up the next morning with gum in her hair. Before I could cut it out she pulled it out herself.

Valentine's Weekend

We had a great weekend. Friday night Corey and I went out on a date night. This has been the first date night since Ashley's been born besides sitting at the hospital together, but that's not much of a date night. We went to Grandville and ate at On The Border and then we went to Home Depot, Lowe's and Gander Mountain. We got home around 9:00 and we just sat and watched TV and enjoyed our quiet house. Thanks to Mom and Dad Tubergan who were brave enough to take all 3 girls for the night. I slept in until 9:00 oh was that great. We picked the girls up Saturday morning and we all took naps in the afternoon. At night we had a movie night with the girls. The girls got spoiled with all the candy they got from us and Grandma and Grandpa De Vries.

Sledding

We decided to go sledding by mom and dad De Vries' house on Saturday. The weather was great and just enough snow for sledding.

I took the girls out while Corey stayed in with Ashley Kenzie's snowman that she made by herself.
Brooke's snowman that she made.

2 Months

Wow Ashley is two months old already. There are days when it feels like she should be 6 months old with everything she has gone through in the last two months. She went to the doctor on Tuesday and she weighed 9 pounds and 10 ounces and was 21 inches long. The last time she was weighed she weighed 7 pounds. Everything was looking good she is developing like any other newborn would. She went to the eye doctor today and her eyes are looking good. We have to go back in 6 months just to make sure everything still looks good. Her eyes are one of the side effects that comes with her rash she has. She is starting to smile at us when we talk to her and wants to coo but just can't get it out. She is such a blessing to our family. The picture here is of Ashley in Kenzie's doll stroller :)

Baptism

The dress that Ashley wore is the same one that all the girls wore. Thanks Aunt Dawn for the white blanket we used it for all our baptism's.

Ashley was baptized on Sunday. We are so thankful we could share it with friends and family. Ashley did great she only cried when she got the water on her forehead. She was wide awake while Pastor Mark welcomed her into the church family.
